Handover of 7 units of Mining Excavators EX3600E-6LD to Italian-Thai Development

Hitachi Construction Machinery Thailand handover HITACHI EX3600E-6LD 7 Units to Italian Thai to get ready for EGAT Phase 9

On 14th January 2020, Hitachi Construction Machinery Thailand completed the handover of 7 units of mining excavators HITACHI EX3600E-6LD to ItalianThai Development Public Limited Company. The handover ceremony was attended by by Mr. Somphong Boonsiri (Senior Vice President of Italian-Thai Development Public Limited Company), Mr. Sonosuke Ishii (Vice President and Executive Officer of Hitachi Construction Machinery Japan), Mr. Katsunari Mugishima (Managing Director of Hitachi Construction Machinery (Thailand) Co.,Ltd) and Mr. Amnat Piyajittra (Chief Operation Officer of Hitachi Construction Machinery (Thailand) Co.,Ltd.)

The 7 units of EX3600E-6LD will be used for excavating coal in Project 9 of Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand at Mae Moh Mine, Lampang Province. Hitachi Construction Machinery Thailand is a technical support service provider for this project. The EX3600E-6LD is the largest 360 ton electric excavator used in Thailand, clean technology to support a green environment, and will cause no pollution to neighboring communities. Moreover, it supports the generation of electricity of Mae Moh Power Plant which is in accordance with the government’s environmental policy.

Since the project began in 2000, Italian-Thai Development Public Limited Company has been showing confidence in Hitachi Construction Machinery (Thailand) Co., Ltd. as a long-standing business partner.
