Hitachi Construction Machinery

Hitachi Construction Machinery (HCM) and Hitachi Construction Machinery Thailand (HCMT) has provided their heavy machinery Hitachi ZX200LC-5A and service to systematize and streamline the demonstration project of an end-of-life vehicle (ELV) recycling system in Thailand.

This project is carried out based on a memorandum of understanding (MOU) concluded on February 8, 2019, among The New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO), the Ministry of Industry of Thailand (MOI), and the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT). Project work has been entrusted to Toyota Tsusho Corporation. Thailand’s first heavy machinery for dismantling vehicles was introduced to the Green Metals (Thailand) Co., Ltd. factory in Pinthong, Chonburi, Thailand.

Hitachi Construction Machinery started selling its vehicle dismantling machine in Japan in 1982. For more than 30 years since then, we have been actively serving our customers as a partner in the field of vehicle dismantling both in Japan and overseas.

Hitachi ZX200LC-5A was developed for dismantling purposes such as vehicles and its parts, using clamp arm which is holding device fitted to undercarriage between both sides of crawler, exclusive use of attachment equipped with grapple, additional counter weight, arm reinforced, exclusive use of hydraulic piping and cab guard considering safe operation. The machine will help to make the dismantling process faster as it is expected that 20 vehicles will be dismantled each day.
